Frances Ryan School of Dance – Gorey Dance Studio
With over twenty years of experience, Frances Ryan is running a highly successful and professional dance academy. Her classes are run by her and an assistant teacher to make sure each child gets the attention they need. All teachers at this studio are certified with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). They offer all the dances you could ever dream of such as Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and more. Classes start for kids as young as three-years-old and are inclusive for boys and girls. Students get to take an official ISTD examination of their learned techniques at the end of each term if they like and are rewarded with entering a new dance grade. At the end of the year, each class choreographed a little show that is presented in a festive setting where all parents are invited to attend.

Got 2 Dance
New dance school just opening in 2020 by two insanely talented dancers Megan and Ciara. As professional dancers in many disciplines, they have the great ability to pass on their skills and their passion for dance to young people. Got 2 Dance offers a modern spin on dance classes for kids to enjoy the great fun Hip Hop and Lyrical/Broadway dance can bring to kids’ life. If your kids love to express themselves through dance, this dance school is exactly right for them. All classes are open to beginners and advanced and are going to focus on incorporating the strengths of each dancer to the class. Here, they will dance to familiar songs by Sia or The Greatest Showman and let loose.

Aspire Fitness and Dance Academy
A little gem hidden in the depths of County Wexford is Aspire Fitness & Dance Academy. For children who want to learn Ballet following the standard of the Royal Academy of Dance, this is the place to go. Philippa Morgan, the teacher is very focussed on making the classes as fun and engaging for kids as possible. She has completed her training at the Royal Academy of Dance in London and is highly motivated to pass on her passion for dance to her students. She is also a qualified Zumba instructor and offers fun Zumba classes for kids. Zumba is known to be great for increasing fitness levels while dancing your heart out.

Wexford Academy of Irish Dance
This dance school is perfect if you would like your little one to learn the traditional art of Irish dancing. Starting from young up, kids at Wexford Academy of Irish Dance get to experience this culturally significant and physically challenging dance form. At the academy, choreographies are being studied to participate in national and international competitions. The academy has won several national and world titles in solo and group performances.
