Ready – Set – Bake!

Enter this fun baking competition for secondary school students in Ireland.

Apple pie.

Autumn is here, the days are getting colder and we are all craving a bit of comfort food these days. Just in time for that, Kenwood has released a nationwide baking competition, open for everyone in secondary school.

The challenge is to bake an original recipe and either film the process or take some photos of the creation. It will be judged based on presentation, creativity, sophistication and originality.

If you have a teen who is passionate about baking or even just wants to challenge themselves, this is a great activity to do on a rainy weekend. It is also a good opportunity to support your child doing something they are passionate about. As a parent, offering help to film the baking process, going ingredients shopping and setting everything up can be a great way to bond with your teen. To keep the young siblings occupied during the baking process, we have gathered some easy ideas to do at home. The best part about this competition is, the whole family can help out with the sweet or savoury joy afterwards, the taste test.

Who can enter?

Secondary school students in Ireland aged 12 – 18 years

What to do?

Bake something original, share the recipe as well as photos or a video of your creation on the submission form.

The competition is open until October 19th. Winners will be announced two weeks later.
